Paralegal

Danish Shakil joined Silverdale Solicitors in July 2024 and works as a Paralegal within the Family Department, assisting on a wide range of family law matters while also managing his own caseload.

Danish has developed strong experience in divorce and separation matters and has a particular interest in financial proceedings. He specialises in financial remedy matters and advising clients in relation to financial settlements following the breakdown of a relationship. He regularly assists clients through complex and sensitive family issues, providing practical, approachable and supportive guidance throughout the process.

Alongside his family law work, Danish also undertakes conveyancing matters, including transfers of property pursuant to court orders. Through his experience in both departments, he has developed a strong understanding of property law and residential conveyancing procedures. This enables him to provide clients with comprehensive legal support, particularly in cases where family and property issues overlap.

Fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and English, Danish is able to assist a diverse range of clients and is committed to delivering clear, practical and client-focused advice. He takes pride in building strong relationships with clients and ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their legal matter.

Outside of work, Danish enjoys travelling and exploring new places and cultures.
