SANDRA WONG
Sandra Wong joined Silverdale Solicitors as a trainee in 2010 after completing her First Class law degree and Legal Practice Course. She qualified as a solicitor in December 2012.
Sandra leads Silverdale’s Family Law Department at our Cheetham Hill office. She has previously worked within the Personal Injury, Civil Litigation and Property Team and also has experience in these areas.
Sandra has a keen interest in representing parties in matters involving children and has specialised in this particular area since qualification. Sandra undertakes all areas of Private Family work and especially matters within Private Children Act proceedings. She continues to represent parents, grandparents and other family members. Where, and if possible, Sandra will undertake her own advocacy and often travels throughout the North West and beyond to represent clients.
Sandra often deals with family cases with an international element as well as cases which cross over with elements of Immigration law and Sharia law.
Sandra also deals with all aspects of divorce and financial proceedings as well cases where clients are seeking a nullity. She also has experience in dealing with other areas of family law including: non-molestation orders, forced marriage protection orders and co-habitation disputes.
Sandra is also a member of Resolution.
Manchester born and bred, Sandra has worked as a volunteer for different organisations for the last 15 years and is a well-known member of the local community. She has particular interest in multi faith work. She is also a regular contributor to a national children’s magazine.
